FAQ

Common Questions

What age groups do you train?+

ProCarthy was founded in 2022 with a focus on training elite-level athletes, including national team players, professionals, and collegiate competitors. Since then, we have expanded to work with players who demonstrate the potential and commitment to reach those levels, with our current programs beginning at the U10 age group.

How often are training sessions?+

We recommend a minimum of one session per week to ensure consistent progress. Most collegiate and professional players train with us 2–5 times per week, while youth players at the ECNL level typically train 1–2 times per week to complement their club commitments. All training schedules are tailored based on each player's evaluation and individual goals.

How does the evaluation work?+

All athletes begin with a three-session evaluation process, designed to help us understand who they are as a player and what we can accomplish together through a working relationship. These sessions are structured and priced the same as our standard training sessions and serve as the first step before making a long-term commitment. We approach this process with intention and care, ensuring the right fit for both the athlete and ProCarthy.

Which locations can I train at?+

We operate across six locations throughout Southern California: The Valley, West LA, South Bay, Palos Verdes, Long Beach, and Orange County. Athletes can train at any location based on their schedule — many of our players rotate between locations depending on the day and session type.

Do you offer college recruitment services?+

Yes. College recruitment support is a core part of what we do. Our services include creating professional highlight reels, facilitating direct connections with college coaching staffs, providing guidance through the NCAA eligibility process, and helping athletes identify programs that align with their level and goals. To date, we have helped place over 50 athletes into NCAA Division I, II, and III programs, including UCLA, UC Berkeley, UPenn, Harvard, and Georgetown.

What makes ProCarthy different?+

The level of detail and professionalism within our training environment. Our sessions emphasize not only technical and tactical development, but also the psychological aspects of performance. Our track record reflects this standard, with numerous athletes progressing to collegiate and professional levels. We take pride in creating a pathway that is intentional, proven, and aligned with each athlete's long-term goals. Here at ProCarthy, it's done different.
