FAQ

Common Questions

What age groups do you train?+

We started with only training the best of the best — players on the national team stage, professional players, and college athletes. But we've expanded to take on all athletes we feel have the potential to get there. The youngest we currently train is U10. Whether you're a youth player building your foundation or a pro sharpening your edge, ProCarthy has a program built for your stage.

How often are training sessions?+

The bare minimum is once a week. Most collegiate and professional players train 2–5 times a week with us, while youth ECNL-level players typically train 1–2 times a week to balance with their club commitments. Schedules are customized based on your evaluation and goals.

How does the evaluation work?+

We start each athlete on 3 evaluation sessions to understand who they are and what we can accomplish together through a working relationship. These sessions are priced and structured just like our normal training sessions. It's the first step before we seriously commit to working with someone — and we don't take that lightly.

Which locations can I train at?+

We operate across six locations throughout Southern California: The Valley, West LA, South Bay, Palos Verdes, Long Beach, and Orange County. Athletes can train at any location based on their schedule — many of our players rotate between locations depending on the day and session type.

Do you help with college recruitment?+

Absolutely. College recruitment support is a core part of what we do. This includes building professional highlight reels, connecting athletes directly with college coaching staffs, guidance on the NCAA eligibility process, and helping players identify the right programs for their level and goals. We've placed 50+ athletes into NCAA Division I, II, and III programs — including UCLA, UC Berkeley, UPENN, Harvard, and Georgetown.

What makes ProCarthy different?+

We do A, B, and C different to everyone else out there. Our sessions are way more detailed and psychological than anyone else. All sessions are run by or overseen by Dan and Vincent — two former top-level professionals who are also established coaches in the US. Look at the amount of kids and proof of players we've delivered to the top level. Our gear is drippier than anyone else. We have pickup games at levels that nobody else delivers. Top players train with us EVERY SINGLE DAY.
